In the coming weeks, AlterMundi will be participating of the ninth edition of the LAC IGF in Costa Rica. The Internet Governance Forum is a multistakeholder space where civil society organizations, Internet corporations and business and State representatives gather to discuss Internet issues. In this opportunity, AlterMundi will be participating in the space created for community networks, the Dynamic Coalition on Community Connectivity, trying to push forward discussions that help in the deployment and development of community networks, and also sharing experiences with other community networks that will be present there.
After that, we’ll be travelling to Canada to participate in the World Social Forum. There we’ll be trying to open a discussion about the kind of technological tools that we need to build another possible world.
